The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Mopani East Agro Ecological Zone hosted the district farmers day with the aim to promote conservation of indigenous sheep and goats. The Farmers day was in partnership with Agriculture Research Council (ARC) . The event was held in Thusong Multi purpose service centre at Ga-Selwana village under Baphalaborwa Local Municipality. Mopani District.
The main focus was to educate farmers about animal husbandry modern practices, and innovations in livestock farming. Farmers day assist farmers to understand the importance of marketing their commodities and to understand their customer’s needs which helps them to grow their farming business by creating value chain to attract and retain customers.
